RSVP ASAP – ONLY 4 spaces left for the JULY 8-12 ACTING CAMP SPONSORED BY LOS ANGELES DRAMA CLUB.
The LA Drama Club has raised some funds that will allow them to hold a free two week-long summer “camps” from 9-3pm – July 8-12 and August 5-9.
These “Shakespeare Intensives” would keep students brains and bodies going through the summer, plus they can get into more in depth acting work without the pressure of a giant show.
They will be at Club Fais Do Do, a giant and welcoming space which allows room for a lot of movement. Their recital will either be there or at their other theatre The LOST, on July 12.
UPCOMING JUNE 8TH PERFORMANCE AT JEFFERSON LIBRARY – JUNE 8 1-2PM –
Professional Actors read Award Winning Essays from Black History Month. Shakespeare in the City kids will perform Shakespeare and also recite Martin Luther King’s Nobel Peace Price Speech.
“PARENTS ONLY” CHEESE AND WINE GATHERING, 4-6pm ON JUNE 9.
Parents will soon be receiving an invitation to attend a wine and cheese “Happy Hour” event Sunday, June 9 from 4-6 at a parent’s home in Brookside (Longwood between Wilshire and Olympic). Please WRITE HERE if you are interested!! This is for all LA Drama Club parents to meet each other – plus they will be presenting the future of Los Angeles Drama Club and forming a team of interested parents who want to work on our Gala Benefit and Charity Auction.
Remember RSVP if you want your child in Shakespeare Camp, and/or wish to attend the Parent Event and be more involved with their growing movement.
