Would you like FREE trees for your property? If so, you’re in luck! The Korean Youth Community Center (KYCC) has two different programs available to distribute and plant trees throughout the Mid-City area. Their Tree Planting Coordinator, Jerry Velasquez, presented at the Monday MINC Stakeholder meeting. You can get trees planted for you in your parkway. And if you’re looking for shade trees for the rest of your property, they will provide up to 7 trees to you that you will need to plant yourself.
As an added bonus, KYCC will have a booth at our upcoming MINCfest on Saturday, March 29th from 2-6PM – they will be giving away 50 fruit trees to the first people who sign up!!
Flyers and all of the details are attached below. This is a great program, so be sure to take advantage of it soon!
