Los Angeles High School Governing Council Elections Open to Parents and Neighbors
Los Angeles High School will hold elections to three governing councils that include parents, neighbors and alumni from the community.
Last school year, the 140-year-old senior high school, the oldest in the Southwestern United States, began operating under a Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) program that gives the school and its community a voice in deciding how it is run.
