Family and friends of Vada Faniel gathered Thursday to urge the public to step forward with information.
Faniel, a father of five, was shot multiple times on July 1. Police say he was moving his car from one side of the street to the other. The shooting happened on Apple Street near Ridgley Drive. His mother had a message for his killer. “It was senseless. You don’t know what you took from us. He was the only boy. Please just turn yourself in. You know who you are. You know what you did,” said Marjorie Faniel. Police have no motive and no suspects.
