Recycled Water Forum to be held Thursday, April 14 in Mid City Area

Public Invited to Learn About the City’s Recycled Water Program at Community Event



The public is invited to hear an overview of the LADWP’s and Bureau of Sanitation’s Recycled Water Program at an open community forum that will outline the City’s long-term strategies to expand local water supplies through increased use of recycled water. The forum will be interactive and will include a question-and-answer session.

LADWP and the Department of Public Works Bureau of Sanitation are expanding the Recycled Water Program to reduce the City’s dependence on imported water by providing more reliable, locally supplied water.  The Program includes expanding infrastructure for irrigation and industrial uses along with groundwater replenishment using highly purified water.

MORE:  Recycled Water Forums are being planned for five additional areas of Los Angeles, including South LA, East LA, West Valley, East Valley and the Westside. Dates and locations for these upcoming workshops will be announced soon on our news website under “Upcoming Events” and via our Twitter account. One forum has previously been held in San Pedro last month.
