Unless you’ve been living underground this past week in Wellington Square, by now you’ve seen or heard that the Wellington Square Improvement Association Board elections are tomorrow – Sunday, August 1st from 3-4pm. There have been flyers, emails, signs, door-to-door campaigning, and an Ice Cream Social – all to make sure you know to come out and vote in the election. But as cheesy as it may sound, the association is only as good and as strong as the members who support it and participate in it. So please… join all of your other neighbors and come out to vote tomorrow. Here are the details: Time: 3:00pm – 4:00pm
Location: Herb Wesson’s CD-10 Office, 1819 S. Western Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90006
(There’s lots of parking in the lot off Manhattan Pl., just south of 18th St.) **Remember… you must be paid up on your $20 2010 dues to be eligible to vote – so if you haven’t paid yet this year, be sure to bring cash or your checkbook. The doors to the CD-10 office will be closed at 4:00pm, and the ballots will be counted. Election results should be ready and will be announced shortly thereafter – most likely around 4:30pm. Good luck to all of the candidates!
