We are happy to report that CRA approved development of the project at San Vicente & Pico… where Lowes is expected to go… so that it will continue forward. This a huge step forward for MINC area and beyond.
Next up, will be the City Council vote next Friday, May 28th. Assuming that sails on through, ground is expected to be broken on this nearly 12-acre project on June 1, 2010! Thank you all for the support of this community project. Many people turned out to encourage the neighborhood’s continued pursuit of this objective. Included amongst the many who showed support for this project were not only MINC Boardmembers & MINC stakeholders but also our surrounding neighbors, Nate Holden, Wren Brown of NHPAC, Councilman Herb Wesson, and so many others. The development is expected to take about 18 months to finish.
